In-Person Auditions - Sheffield Acting Associates Programme

Juniors (8-12 years): 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Seniors (12-21 years): 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Open to Juniors/Seniors only.
To audition via in person, all applicants must showcase their skills in:
A script (provided by May 25th)
A workshop carried out by our team

Self-Tape Submissions
1st Consideration Deadline: Sunday, 1st June 25
2nd Consideration Deadline: July 31
Open to Juniors/Seniors only.
In-person auditions and self tapes received by the 1st deadline will be prioritised for placement.
To audition via self-tape, all applicants must submit a video showcasing their skills:
A script (provided by May 25th or within 48 hours of ticket purchase after June 1)
Additionally, applicants must submit a short introduction video. Self-tapes must be submitted by June 1st for first consideration. Late submissions will be considered in the second round.
Programme Overview:
The Northern Prep Squads Acting Associates Programme provides intensive Acting training for young performers looking to expand their skills. This monthly programme allows participants to grow between sessions while applying new techniques, building confidence, and engaging with industry professionals.
Junior and Senior Acting courses run for 5 months
Participants can repeat the programme as we build on skills and invite different industry professionals each month.

For those interested in both MT and Acting programmes (which are held on separate days), please apply through the Musical Theatre Audition application and choose the appropriate drop down. You will only attend the Musical Theatre audition slot.

By booking an event with Northern Prep Squad you are agreeing to our terms and conditions please find below.
Application
These terms and conditions will apply to the purchase of the services by you (the customer)
These are the terms and conditions on which we (Northern Prep Squad) sell all services to you. By booking our services, you agree to bound these terms and conditions. You can only purchase our services and agree to our contract if you are 18 and above.
Services
The main description of the specific services purchased can be found on our website (www.northernprepsquad.co.uk) and any other advertisement produced by Northern Prep Squad.
All events that appear on the website are subject to availability.
We can make changes to the services which are necessary to comply with any applicable law or safety requirement. We will notify the purchaser of any changes made via email.
Customer responsibilities
You must cooperate with us in all matters relating to our services. You will provide us with all information required to perform the service.
Failure to comply with the above is a customer default and could result in losing your event reservation.
Personal information
We retain and use all personal information strictly under the data protection policy for your event only.
We will contact you via email with regard to your purchased event only. If you wish to receive more information with regard to other events you will have to manually sign up to our mailing list via the website.
Basis of sale
When an order has been submitted through the website, we can reject it for any reason, although we will inform you of the reason without any delay.
The order process is set out on the website. Each step allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting. It is your responsibility to check that you have used the order process correctly particularly when it comes to providing a valid and correct email address. Email communication is our preliminary communication method.
You will then receive an email containing order confirmation for the event purchased. You will then check that all the information is correct and inform us of any errors.
All successfully booked tickets will appear on our register for each event. In the event that monies have been taken and you do not appear on our register, Northern prep Squad staff will look into matters and decide whether or not your young person can attend.
Expectations
We expect all ticket holders to attend the event suitably dressed with clothes they can move in and practical footwear. If we do not see this compatibility, you should be prepared to be asked to remove your shoes and socks, jewellery or anything else deemed unsafe for practice.
Any personal belongings that are brought to events will be at owners risk, Northern Prep Squad does not hold responsibility for these items.
Parents and guardians will not be able to sit in any workshop or masterclass events due to strict health and safety, child protection and safeguarding regulations although you may be invited in at the end of a masterclass to watch children showcase their day. This is at the discretion of Northern Prep Squad who reserve the right to invite in any Parents/Guardians.
We expect all participants to apply themself in an appropriate manner by always being respectful to others.
We expect all self tapes submitted to be within the deadline. You as the customer also understand that these videos will be shared with our team for acceptance consideration.
If there is a failure to comply with these expectations, Northern Prep Squad reserves the right to ask a person to leave the event with immediate action.
Fees and payment
The fee of each event will be clearly set out on the website before and during purchase.
Charges include VAT.
You must pay by either submitting your credit or debit card details through our secured website. We can only reserve your place at the event when payment is made in full immediately as we can not reserve tickets.
Any events that allow regular/annual payments will be outlined clearly on the website or in any advertisements. Please contact Northern Prep Squad on 07817475028 or info@northernprepsquad.uk if you need any assistance or clarity with regards to payment.
Payment of the Associates programme is clearly laid out on the website, acceptance email and contract which must be signed prior to the programme's start date. Please pay special attention to this as accepting and attending the course requires commitment to pay the whole amount regardless of any missed sessions. This is £430 for Musical Theatre courses, £215 for each Acting Course and £115 for Minis.
Customer cancellation policy
If you wish to cancel your booking for an event with Northern Prep Squad more than one week prior to the event, you are entitled to a full refund by contacting Northern Prep Squad through email.
If you cancel within the week of the event, you are entitled to a limited refund amount of 50% of the original ticket price.
If you wish to cancel within 24 hours of the event or do not attend the event date you are not entitled to a refund as Northern Prep Squad would not be able to resell your ticket.
Suppliers cancelation rights
We (Northern Prep Squad) reserve the right to cancel an event due to any unforeseen circumstances, although we would notify you of this at the earliest of convenience.
If Northern Prep Squad was to cancel an event, all ticket holders would receive a full refund if the event is not postponed.
If a masterclass visitor could not attend an event as advertised, Northern Prep Squad would do it’s best to provide a similar facilitator for the event to still take place and would inform you of this change at earliest of convenience.
If any event is cancelled and postponed you will be notified via email. If you can no longer attend, you must get in touch within a week of the postponed event in order to receive a refund.
We believe that the performing arts is for everyone. If we can help you to fully access and be included in our sessions, taking into consideration any additional needs, please let us know. Do not hesitate to get in touch via email/phone to discuss how we can support you or your young performer.
